Sydney Train Walks

From Coogee Beach via Coastal Walk 2h / 6km to Bondi Beach

About this walk

This walk covers the famous Bondi to Coogee walk.

It takes about 2 hours to complete the full 6 kilometre walk, with plenty of breaks and photography stops. A brisk walker can do this much faster, but consider that there's a lot to see along the way.

Getting there and back

Get the bus to Coogee Beach using transportnsw.info. Plan your return trip from Bondi Beach at transportnsw.info.

Along the way

From the busstop follow the beach to the left to its end.

From the north end of Coogee beach follow the coastal track to Gordons Bay.

The track then goes around Clovelly Bay and continues on the far side.

The next landmark along the coast is the Clovelly cemetery.

Cross Bronte and Tamarama beach, the coast track continues at the far end of each.

The final stretch of the walk follow the rocky cliffs to Bondi.

The coastal track finally ends at the Bondi Icebergs. Buses to Bondi Junction stop on the road along the beach.
